Samsøe Samsøe — A Multi-Sensory Fashion Experience with Escential

For Copenhagen Fashion Week AW25, Samsøe Samsøe broke from tradition with Radial Connection, a garment-free installation presented at Pakhus 11. Instead of a runway, guests stepped into Where the Lights Meet — an atmospheric space infused with custom soundscapes, lighting, and scent.

Perfume composition house's Emmanuel Martini, Escential CPH, contributed to this sensorial journey with an ambient fragrance that completed the immersive experience. Designed to evoke emotion and presence, the scent harmonized with lighting by Philip Sacht, sound by Oliver Malone, and a custom Yuzu chewing gum created by chef Henrik Jyrk.

This bold concept transformed the traditional fashion show into a lasting, exploratory moment — where touch, sight, sound, taste, and scent came together to tell a story beyond garments. Samsøe Samsøe once again challenged the boundaries of how fashion is experienced. (Vésma Kontere McQuillan)
